The
air box is to replace the conventional air filter assembly, it
has an internal air filter and a 100mm air inlet. Complete
with 300mm of air trunking.
The two main advantages are.
- The air box
can be piped to cold air space, this gives more power by
using cooler air.
- It
acts as a silencer to quieten the twin Weber roar
.
The
system is available in two lengths. One for “splits” and
short modern motors. A longer version for normally aspirated
Cosworths and larger four cylinder motors. This can be made to
fit left or right hand air inlet
and will fit any side draught carb or injection set up left or
right hand. Also under carb air feed or over carb feed for
front wheel drive etc.
